Hello!

We are sorry to say that the Official John Partridge Web Site has been closed. For several reasons, which will be shared with you in this closing statement.

We spoke with John recently and he expressed a desire to have no more involvement in any web sites about him on the internet. So out of respect for his wishes, we have taken the site down. Now those of us at P.A.W.S. are very unhappy about this, but it's more disturbing to us to know the reasons behind his actions.

Since we began the Official John Partridge Web Site, certain events and actions have been taken against P.A.W.S. based on jealousy and anger. These actions have continued for the entire time we've been working on this web site. These negative actions have been brought out against us both publically and privately. For the most part, we have never responded to the select few who have continually harassed us. On a few occasions, a response was necessary, but as we said, for the most part, we ignored the harassment.

Then the situation turned into a direction that no one realized it would go. People calling his family and friends at 4am in the morning just to get to John and then there was the tattleing club. We have actually received emails and notes saying that 'they' were going to take screen shots of the site and show John and tell on us. Tell what, we never knew, but 'they' were going to tell on us. These are just a few of the things John has had to endure.

None of this should have ever happened. John didn't deserve it and we certainly didn't deserve it. In the past year, we have been accused of many things by these select few. We have never lied about anything we have done. The truth is the site is being taken down because John's right to privacy was not respected and he wants nothing more to do with any web site on the net. He is tired of being harassed and stalked by fans who just don't know when to quit.

Oh and we have been asked many many times how we gained the official title for the Official John Partridge Web Site. The secret that we held onto for so long will now be revealed.

We simply asked him.

On a more positive note, we do have many other official sites up and many more being worked on at this moment.
